Ball Handling Circuit

Step 1: WALKING

Length of the floor

  • Dribble with your dominate hand only. Down and back. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble alternating between both hands each dribble. Down and back. Repeat twice.
  • Dribble behind your back using dominate hand. Down and back. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble between your legs with dominate hand. Down and back. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble between your legs with dominate hand, then between again with weak hand. Down and back
    • Two step move. Repeat starting with weak hand for a total of 4 times walking the length of the court.
  • Dribble behind your back starting with dominate hand, then back around with your weak hand. Down and back.
    • Two step move. See above.

Step 2: JOGGING

Length of the floor

  • Dribble with dominate hand while jogging to the opposite end and back.
    • Repeat with weak hand
  • Dribble alternating between both hands each dribble. Down and back. Repeat twice.
  • Dribble behind your back using dominate hand. Down and back. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble between your legs with dominate hand. Down and back. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble between your legs with dominate hand, then between again with weak hand. Down and back
    • Two step move. Repeat starting with weak hand for a total of 4 times walking the length of the court.
  • Dribble behind your back starting with dominate hand, then back around with your weak hand. Down and back.
    • Two step move. See above.

Step 3: STANDING, 1 Ball

  • Dribble at a normal height/speed with your dominate hand for 1 minute straight. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble as close to the ground as possible for 1 minute straight. If you lose control, keep going, don’t start over. Repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble as high as you can (ideally the ball should reach your shoulder but still be under control) for 1 minute while maintaining consistent rhythm. Repeat with weak hand
  • Dribble through your legs using your dominate hand 25x. repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble behind your back with your dominate hand 25x. repeat with weak hand.
  • Dribble through both legs (front to back) using both your dominate and weak hand. You should dribble through both legs as one rep. do this 25x total so 25 each leg.
    • Repeat but start with your weak hand.
  • Dribble through your legs using your dominate hand, then immediately behind your back with your weak hand. Repeat starting with your weak hand going into your dominate hand. 1 minute
  • Dribble through your legs using both hands (through with dominate, then through with weak) then dribble around your back. You should dribble around your back with the same hand you started with. Repeat starting with weak hand. 1 minute
